Before you start climbing, visit the castle and Vine and Wine Museum in Aigle, where you’ll learn to appreciate the wines of Chablais, served in all good restaurants on this alpine detour. After a climb of a few kilometres, Villars-sur-Ollon and Gryon welcome you to the Vaudois Alps. This stylish resort and rural village combine everything you need for a great stay, with hiking trails and golf course. Further on, in the authentic mountain village of Les Diablerets, visitors can take the cable car to the highest point of the Vaud region: Glacier 3000. The final destination of this alpine detour, Leysin–Les Mosses is known for its nature activities and completely glass revolving restaurant, the Kuklos.
